15-month programme + End Point Assessment | Nationally recognised qualification

Fully funded – no cost to you as a learner. You’ll earn a salary from day one in a paid, full-time role.

This programme equips you with the practical skills and knowledge to provide essential HR support in a range of organisational settings. You’ll handle HR queries, support managers and employees, and contribute to HR processes that underpin effective people management.

What You'll Learn

  • Understand your organisation’s structure, values, and the role of HR within it
  • Know relevant HR legislation, policies, and compliance requirements
  • Use core HR systems and tools to support day-to-day HR activities
  • Handle common HR processes from recruitment through to retirement
  • Provide accurate advice to managers within legal and ethical boundaries

Skills You’ll Build

  • Deliver excellent HR customer service and support
  • Solve HR queries using active listening and sound judgement
  • Communicate confidently across different media and adapt to your audience
  • Work effectively within HR and wider teams to deliver results
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and support change
  • Maintain accurate HR records and prepare management reports
  • Plan and organise your work to meet deadlines and KPIs

Qualification & Accreditation

You’ll gain the HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship, a nationally recognised qualification.

Upon completion, you may be eligible to apply for Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Level 2 Maths & English Functional Skills can also be completed if required.

A blended learning experience designed to fit around your work and life. Your progress will be supported and tracked via our smart learning platform, Aptem.

  • Monthly training sessions led by experienced HR coaches
  • 6 hours per week of off-the-job training, including practical activities
  • Live workshops with real-world HR scenarios and role plays
  • One-to-one mentoring and personalised feedback
  • Online study and reflective learning via Aptem
  • Structured on-the-job learning aligned with your HR role and goals
  • Final End Point Assessment (EPA) to demonstrate your competence

HR Advisor
HR Officer
Recruitment Coordinator
Employee Relations Assistant

Further progression to Level 5 HR Business Partner or specialist HR roles

  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Have lived in the UK or EEA for the past 3 years
  • Be in a role where you can apply your learning (we can help you find one)
  • Not already hold a qualification in the same subject
  • Not be studying another government-funded qualification

Your training is fully funded, and you’ll earn a salary while gaining real experience in a full-time role.
